The Independence Day was celebrated with immense patriotic zeal and enthusiasm by the students and staff of BGS Vijnatham School, on 15 August 2024. The celebration commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony followed by the National Anthem. The Guest of Honour, Shri Surender Kumar,Deputy Commandant, 36 Battalion,BSF, Greater Noida West and Mrs. Minakshi Khurana, Principal hoisted the National Flag, while the students, their families and the staff members present on the campus stood tall and saluted the flag with reverence.
This was followed by the much-awaited plethora of cultural performances which infused the spirit of patriotism and pride for our nation through a series of spectacular dance and music performances which showcased diversity, equality and inclusivity in India. Students of Step X (session 2023-24) were awarded for their outstanding performance in the board exams.
Indeed, it was a day of elation, a day of love and respect for the country, instilling the value and reverence for the gift of freedom by the great leaders of our country.
